Ashland Cares does take varied statistical information during the application process but we don't look at Age, Race, Sex, National Origin, Religion, Disability, Pregnancy, Medical Condition, Marital Status or Sexual Orientation as a reason to provide or not provide services or when volunteering. All are welcome. So to our organization, other than for service purposes as to products, medical help, or referrals they may need on an individual basis - that data is irrelevant. The only way to get accurate data on drug use, crime, etc. or other statistics is to poll every agency in the area and ask them how many of each they have since we are not the only agency people go to for help.
