In October of 2014 --- a briefcase was our first office !

From August of 2015 to August of 2016 - - More than 440 persons…  from newborns to aged 92…… came through our office.. We answered over 2500 phone calls…….and traveled over 20,000 miles.   
 
We are Ashland Cares Inc.

A community based …. volunteer operated …helping organization providing advocacy . . .  services  . . .  and outreach to homeless and potentially homeless people.

Our goal is to promote and preserve the dignity and quality of life for
men, women and children.
 
This is accomplished through advocacy….education…..collaboration….
technical assistance. . . .  and referral to other supportive services.
 
Let’s talk dirt !!    . . . .  Because that’s where most of our clients have slept. . . . .   ON THE GROUND !  . . . . .   where it can take less than one hour to die from exposure.
